Sharon Leslie Morgan was the founder of OurBlackAncestry.com, a website devoted to helping people appreciate and explore African American family history and culture. Sharon passed from this life and joined the ancestors on February 24, 2026
Tom most recently served as the Executive Director for Coming to the Table, a non-profit organization that provides leadership, resources, and a supportive environment for all who wish to acknowledge and heal wounds from racism that are rooted in the United States’ history of slavery.
With their book, Sharon and Tom hoped to inspire a national dialogue about the legacies of slavery and racism and offer practical guidance for individuals and groups who want to heal themselves and America.
